The Alden B. Dow Office Museum is one of the first buildings constructed in Lake Jackson. This historic structure housed many of Lake Jackson’s firsts, including its first post office, city hall, barber shop, and more. Now fully restored, the building offers visitors the chance to experience life in a new town during World War II. Discover early printing techniques and learn about the rationing system. This museum is managed by the Lake Jackson Historical Museum.
