The Cedar Lake Creek Trail at the San Bernard National Wildlife Refuge takes you along the banks of Cedar Lake Creek, weaving in and out of the riparian vegetation. Look for a variety of birds including snow geese and roseate spoonbills and other wildlife like alligators and turtles. Fish for black drum, flounder, red drum and croaker. Don’t veer from marked trails and bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellant.
