The Cox Lake Trail is a short ½-mile flat trail providing visitors with opportunities to view wildlife in a fresh water slough, salt grass prairie and salt water lake. The trail has a rest stop and interpretive signage. The trailhead can be reached by vehicle at the eastern edge of the Big Slough Auto Tour. Don’t veer from marked trails and bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellant.
