Ghosts Along the Brazos

Take an eerie stroll around the Varner-Hogg Plantation State Historic Site and listen to tales about the ghostly heritage of the area. Plenty of dangers lurked in the early Texas wilderness and many settlers didn’t live to tell their tales! Discover Victorian funeral and mourning practices at the main house. PLUS…HAUNTED WOODS, STORYTELLERS AND MAYBE, AN UNEXPECTED GUEST OR TWO!
Admission: $10.00 per person/ $8.00 in advance
Children 5 and under are FREE
Admission at the gate may be paid with cash or card.

Food and drinks available for additional charge. *no outside food or drinks allowed*
Limited street PARKING will be available in front of the Plantation gates. Additional free parking and trolley ride will be available at First Capitol Park.
For your safety, be sure to wear closed toe shoes and consider bringing a personal flashlight.
**Haunted Woods (recommended for visitors 12 & up)**
