History Talks at the Stephen F. Austin Statue
Join the Brazoria County Parks Department in a discussion of historical events affecting Brazoria County. The History Talks series is a discussion based on primary research - crowd participation is encouraged. History Talks are on the second Sunday of each month from January through September, and are free and open to the public.

Children ages 3-14 are invited to participate in the fishing tournament! Register the day of the event. The fun begins at 4:00 p.m. with safe solar viewing for daylight hours. Seeing the Sun through a telescope is an awesome sight. It's a dynamic, living body, changing unpredictably from day to day. When the sky darkens you can catch a closer glimpse of the moon, stars and maybe even Mars.
