This exhibit shares the narratives of the enslaved who labored local plantations as well as exploring the politics and personalities involved in the slave trade. Original artifacts from local plantation sites will be on display.

Learn from site staff about those who were enslaved or sharecropped during the plantation and post-emancipation eras and the archaeology associated with them.
